I have been up since like three or four this morning. Karl came in our room with Zach and some big story to tell about how he was pulled over. More about that later. Zach is sick. He had bad gas, and that progressed to him throwing up every so often. I am starting to worry. He seems to get sick and stay sick for long times sometimes.

I never quite know where I am going to end up in a day. Today Nicole wanted to do something since she got paid today. We decided aginst going to Vegas, too much gas money. We did not have alot to spend. We decided to go out to eat. Nicole wanted to inviter her mom as well. No problem. I remember Nicole needed to go to the doctor today, so I though, perhaps after lunch, moms can watch Zach so we can go to the doctor and such. Seemed like a good plan.

After a couple hours of trying to reach moms she finally called us. Nicole talked to her and she had plans to go with Warren to eat. Nicole felt bad and aparently moms tried to lay a guilt trip saying she should have called sooner. Hello? Nicole hung up and moms called back and said she can go with us. We went to pick her up. We where going to eat chinese, but we discussed it. Terri (moms) was going to eat at Terrible's Lakeside buffet, they where having a mexican style buffet. We decided to go there and invite Warren to join us. That seemed to work out well. We ate and all was good.

We asked moms to watch Zach and her first responce was, "I am tired." Big shock there, she is never avaliable when we need her. Nicole told her it was ok, we just needed to go to a doctors appointment. Moms changed her mind and decided to help. Yah! We took her and Zach back to her house and headed for the clinic.

The clinic didn't take too long. Turns out that aparently some antibiotics that Nicole had taken previously had knocker her digestive track out of balance. She has more pills to correct that. I asked Nicole if there was anything else she wanted to do. She wanted to go to Family Dollar, so we headed there. Nicole started to pick up the phone to tell her mom the news. I told her that perhaps she should wait. We can never get anyone to watch Zach. Lets just pretend the doctors office took to long. Lets not call her and let her know we are done, she will want us to come get Zach. Sure that sounds bad, but if you know the situation we have to take advantage of what we can get. No one has a problem taking us for a ride.

We shopped at family dollar and then walmart. Then we headed to game craze for a bit. We also dropped of he prescripition before we went shopping and picked them up after we where done. We called moms to tell her we were just getting our prescriptions and heading home. We did not mention the shopping. Good Nicole, there is some hope for her yet.

It is sad that we feel the need to be like that, but as many times as moms has said she would help whenever we need it and not been there. If not for her saying she would help us we would not have moved out here. What a dissapointment that was.

Nicole and I had an interesting spiritual conversation today. We have been ever so gingerly looking for faith. We talked today over chinese. She was saying how she wants to believe in something but she doesn't know what. She said that maybe we should pray and give thanks. I don't see why not. We disscused who or what where we going to pray too. Jesus, god, lord all came up. I liked the idea of god, but I brought up the notion, what about godess? Nicole said that there has to be a mother and a father right, if we are the children? A very good thought I belive. I thought for a second and said, "Mother nature and father time." She smiled. I think we just settled on calling "it" the powers that be.

It was a nice converstaion, probably one of the most meaningfull we have had.

Today got off to a rough start, too many things happeneing in too short a time. It has gotten a little better though. Nicole, Zach and myself ended up going a friends house and hanging out, and swimming in the pool. Zach had fun, not so much in the pool but playing around their house. We ate chinese and are now back home resting our full stomachs.
